Celebrating the Success of Our DIY Yarn Wall Hanger Event: A Creative Delight

In a recent event organized by Cal Latour from the Library Outreach Events Team, our university witnessed a DIY yarn wall hanger event. With a focus on simplicity, re-usability and fostering artistic expression, participants were inspired to unleash their creativity and create works of art. Let us celebrate the success of this event and the artistic prowess of our college community. 

The event encouraged attendees to embrace their artistic instincts and experiment with various knotting and weaving techniques. Cal’s vision of simplicity and accessibility was evident in the carefully chosen materials and techniques. Participants had easy access to the required materials, allowing even beginners to create their own unique wall hangings under Cal's guidance. 

The highlight feature of the event was the opportunity for participants to select their favorite colors of yarn from a wide range of options. The vibrant and diverse selection of colors allowed individuals to personalize their creations and truly reflect their unique tastes and preferences. This added an extra layer of personalization and ensured that each wall hanging was one-of-a-kind.
