Meet Crystal Zamora, New ILL Lending Specialist
I would like to introduce Crystal Zamora, new ILL Lending Specialist at the University of Texas at Arlington Libraries. She comes to us from the Rio Grande Valley (area code 956!) and has two-and-a-half years of experience in libraries.
Alexandra Pirkle (AP): As a way of introducing yourself in this current environment, what piece of media (book/movie/TV show/album/etc.) would you say best represents yourself? Why?
Crystal Zamora (CZ): I would stay that the shows “Good Omens” and “Star Trek TOS” best depicts myself! Just a whole lot of randomness but also a desire to explore the unknown, as cheesy as that sounds!
AP: What three words best describe your personal aesthetic (e.g. cozy, eclectic, whimsical, vintage, etc.)?
CZ: Eccentric, chaotic, private.
AP: What makes you most excited to work for UTA Libraries?
CZ: Being back in the UTA community!
AP: What is something about you that others would be surprised to know?
CZ: I love to go explore abandoned or supposedly haunted places for fun!
Thank you, Crystal! We are excited to have you on board.
