As part of the Data Analysis & Visualization series, we offered the workshop “Tableau Data Prep: Cleaning and Restructuring Data for Visualizations" on February 27, 2020. The coordinating video is available now.  

Data preparation is the process of cleaning dirty data, restructuring ill-formed data, and combining multiple datasets for analysis. It involves transforming the data structure and cleaning data values and data types. It also involves transforming data for various uses, which is a common part of creating effective visualizations. This workshop walks through data preparation steps in Tableau.
