Top Military Professor Relates Experiences

The U.S. Army Cadet Command has named Lt. Col. Lora A. Rimmer, Commander of the Army ROTC “Maverick Battalion” at UT Arlington, the nation’s Professor of Military Science of the Year.Rimmer was selected from among 275 professors at colleges and universities nationwide that offer Army ROTC. You can hear Rimmer's account of her military experiences which include ROTC in college, service in Iraq, and the Army Reserves, online at Maverick Veterans' Voices.Maverick Veterans' Voices is a joint project between UTA's College of Liberal Arts and the Libraries to honor and preserve the experiences of the men and women of the UTA community who have served in any branch of the U.S. military. Veterans and their families are invited to record segments in which they recount their experiences as a veteran or family member, lessons learned, memories of their time at UT Arlington, and other thoughts.
