UTA Libraries Student Employee Spotlight: Siddhi Ramanand Nair

As a member of the UTA Libraries Marketing and Communications team, Siddhi Ramanand Nair works to provide people with updated information about library services in her role as a web developer. 

Siddhi recently completed her master's degree in computer science and is working towards earning her PhD. in information systems here at UTA. She uses the information acquired from her classes here in her role at the library. 

"My primary focus is updating the library's servers using JavaScript, Python, and CSS," Siddhi said. "Additionally, using Google Analytics to analyze user behavior to understand how people interact with the library's online resources and how people reach that page accordingly. 

Siddhi's ultimate goal is to become a respected researcher and professor.  

 "I feel like teaching is a two-way communication process where both the instructor and students can learn from one another, and I love to learn new things." 

Outside of academics, Siddhi enjoys playing outdoor games like cricket and basketball.  

Siddhi's journey and commitment to web development and research are aided by balancing her technical expertise with her love for teaching.  

Her story reminds us of the power of passion and determination in achieving our dreams.
