Report OER Use
UTA Libraries work closely with campus partners to ensure that UTA students have the information they need to make educated enrollment decisions and plan for the cost of their education. Per state law (SB810 and HB2017), students must be able to search the schedule of classes and filter by courses that use low- or no-cost course materials. If the total cost per student for all required resources in a course is less than $25 (i.e., low-cost) or $0 (i.e., no-cost), report the course as soon as possible each semester to ensure it is tagged in the schedule of classes. The course must be marked in MyMav, and the resources must also be reported to the UTA Bookstore through Follett Discover. More information on reporting low-cost course materials is coming soon. Please contact oer@uta.edu with any questions.
