Work Requests

UTA Facilities Management Work Orders

For services such as heating/cooling, lighting, elevators, building repairs, and pest control, please submit a work order request to UTA Facilities Management, which will be referred to Libraries staff as appropriate.

Please include LibFacilities@uta.edu in the form as shown.

Emergency or Urgent Matters

When a Work Order for an emergency or urgent matter needs to be placed with Facilities Management, please, directly do so via extension 2-2000, then contact University Libraries Facilities at LibFacilities@uta.edu or extension 2-1410 and (for after-hours support) Community Desk at mavcentral@uta.edu or extension 2-6349. If you have access to a building radio, those are excellent tools of communication to contact us for urgent matters.  When you place the call, a Work Order will be entered and you will receive an email with the Work Order information, please, forward that email to LibFacilities@uta.edu so that we may track and know the Work Order number and details.

Examples:

  • Flooding
  • Overflowing urinals or toilets
  • Leaking faucets/drains in the Hospitality Office (602)
  • Broken elevators
  • Anything that imposes an imminent immediate danger to life and limb
