Honoree's Remarks
This book greatly influenced my research on international broadcasting in the Pacific. The book provided me with much needed context and was a catalyst for further research about the local and regional broadcasters and stations who many people will never know about, yet whose service to their audience is essential as they provide entertainment, information, community, and a link to a world beyond the shores of their islands.
