Honoree's Remarks
During my four-decade career at UT Arlington, I have taught courses in taxation to thousands of students, both graduate and undergraduate. My classes address current tax law as well as the history of taxation and the reasons for the law. This book provides an excellent accounting of both the history of taxation in the United States and the consequences of the laws enacted over the years.
