Honoree's Remarks
Portraiture as a method of qualitative inquiry is used to document school culture and life histories of educational stakeholders. I have used the methodological approach Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot exemplified in her book The Art and Science of Portraiture to explore connections between schools and school partners and to frame the discussion of the complexities of the relationships of communities of learners.
