Honoree's Remarks
The volume contains two early works by Kant that have played an important role in my research and thinking. "The False Subtlety of the Four Syllogistic Figures" was central to some of my early work as a Kant scholar, and Dreams of a Spirit-Seer Elucidated through Dreams of Metaphysics enriched the final chapter of my book on musical representation.
