Social network research has advanced significantly. The development of sophisticated techniques for social network analysis and mining has been highly influenced by the online social websites which are widely analyzed using graph theory and machine learning techniques. Since both social network analysis and data mining techniques are hot topics and cross-disciplinary research areas, I believe faculty members and graduate students in the College of Business, as well as, those from other colleges will benefit from reading this book.
