Honoree's Remarks

The nursing profession is at an important crossroads if we want to remain the most trusted profession in a post-pandemic world. My hope is this book inspires other nurse educators to question our long-standing overreliance on a standardized licensing exam as the sole measure of nursing program success and begin dismantling the oppressive societal structures that perpetuate inequities among nursing students and patients alike.
