Honoree's Remarks
My first memory of being inspired by science was watching Cosmos as a young child. I was captivated by the concept of the vastness of space, the unknowns, and that exploring those unknowns was something people did. From that moment I was obsessed with nature and exploration and was determined to be a scientist.
