I have selected this publication to recognize and honor an important nationally recognized artist and Professor who I studied with at San Francisco State University in California. As a dedicated teacher and committed artist, he was able to successfully blend both endeavors and to this day he still is a primary model for my roles as Professor and artist. This publication is the essential tribute and document representing his life’s artwork, as well as, the catalogue for his retrospective exhibition in 2012 at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
