Honoree's Remarks
I selected this item because it is the best documentary on the Cold War. It illustrates problems and dilemmas from both sides of the conflict with rare footage and unique interviews. The film will be very useful in the classroom: in the era of the so-called "new Cold War" it will help me explain to students why the first Cold War started and why it ended.
