I learned about the unique materials and construction practices of ancient Roman civilization from this book. The knowledge I gained from this book helped me to identify innovative ways to make modern infrastructure materials more environmentally friendly while also making them last longer. This ancient technology-inspired novel infrastructure material is currently one of my primary research areas.
