Honoree's Remarks
Andy Baum was my mentor, colleague, and friend. He and Jerry Singer were instrumental in my development into the independent investigator, statistician, and instructor that I am today. Sadly, both died during the production of this book, and while they are gone from this world, they have forever left an impact on my life.
