Honoree's Remarks
I read the first edition of England's Dreaming while in middle school, and was both fascinated and inspired. I brought together politics, music, and art in a manner that felt all encompassing. Among other works, this book helped to inform my perspective on the intersection between government and the experiences and aspirations of citizens.
