I’ve recently learned about the conversion of the central library basement into a space where students can socialize and play games. So many of our students grapple with anxiety and elevated stress levels resulting from the academic pressures placed upon them. The basement provides a place where they can temporarily escape the demands of their studies, relax, and enjoy their university experience outside the academic realm. To support this program, I would ask that you contribute an item to the basement collection. It is my hope that students will continue to maintain their commitment to academic excellence while also taking time to build new friendships and savor their university journey
