The Mark Permenter and Selma Asebedo Permenter Multicultural Collection Endowment

In 2015, Mark Permenter and Selma Asebedo Permenter, both respected UTA staff members, established The Mark Permenter and Selma Asebedo Permenter Multicultural Collection  Endowment supporting the acquisition of materials about Hispanic Americans for the Libraries’ Multicultural Collection.  The Collection contains material about African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans in the Southwest, specifically Arizona, California, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Works in the collection include contributions to the culture of each minority group and emphasis on their contemporary issues. The UTA Libraries thank Mark Permenter and Selma Asebedo Permenter for their generous support and vision for the future of the Multicultural Collection.
