I would be grateful if you could purchase a new textbook that covers Medieval Art History, which is what I teach on and research as an art historian in the Art & Art History Department. It looks at the culture of the Medieval Era in a much more inclusive way and explores the globally interconnected nature of the economic and social structures, which I speak to in my courses versus the more traditional Euro- and Christo-centric viewpoints that have dominated the field for so long and often silences the voices of many who were vital to the era.
